QSS Aquarium boasts one of the finest selections of discus in the north of England. The majority of these discus are selected from hand picking trips to the Far East. We are proud to be the sole UK agents for Nura discus, a world famous championship breeder from Penang who has won many competitions both in the Far East and Germany.

We also get discus from other famous breeders such as Adam Tan, Martin Ng and Neoh. Many unusual colour strains are stocked. We also support local discus breeders. All our imports are fully quarantined by us in our purpose built quarantined facility. In the recent Practical Fishkeeping Magazine shop tour QSS Aquarium scored 4*’s for Discus and overall rated as excellent.
