QSS have been importing Tropical Fish directly from exporters abroad for over 30 years. We have always felt that only by importing and quarantining fish ourselves, are we able to offer our customers the healthiest stocks available. All our fish are held in our purpose built quarantine facility for at least 4 days, sometimes much longer, before sale. The newly imported fish are screened for possible disease and medicated if necessary during this quarantine period. Only when fish are considered to be disease free and in the best possible condition are they transferred to our retail areas.

We are currently importing from several countries including; Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Brazil, Columbia, Peru and Sri Lanka.

QSS also support local breeders where ever possible.
